Why you failed miserably at applying lashes

I hear this WAY too often "I tried lashes and failed miserably".

Then I ask, how many times did you try... "one time"

I'm so sorry, I don't believe I hear you correctly, so what you're telling me is you tried something completely new to you, knowing well enough that you usually don't do things right the very first time, and then gave up? (not really what I say but what I really want to say, lol).

PLAY THE BLAME GAME

Ladies! Don't give up when things get hard! Ok, that's enough blaming yourself for the reason why you failed at lashes. Let's turn the blame to the products you were using.

Lashes can be tricky to apply, thats for sure! It's even harder when you're not using the proper products to apply your lashes correctly {insert b.lashed products that change lives}

WHY YOU FAILED MISERABLY WITH LASHES

1. Improper technique or products- not all lashes are made alike, did you know this? And no one really teaches how to properly apply lashes (besides us).

- Did you know you have to trim the lash band? Lash bands come in all different lengths. Our lash bands are a universal length of 30mm, as are most lash strips! The average length of an eyelid is anywhere from 24mm-26mm. This means grab our accessory bundle and trim away at your lash band. Small sections at a time and always trim from the outer corner. You will want to trim a small section of the inner corner if the band is too long.

- Did you know most strip lashes have plastic lash bands? EW. EW. EW. A big thank u, next. Most lash brands settle for plastic bands for their strip lashes to produce at a higher rate, which to me makes no sense. B.lashed false lashes are created on a soft/flexible cotton band. Literally a cotton pillow for your eyelids. You're so very welcome! We chose cotton to minimize irritation and to create a product that even sensitive eye clients could use!

- Did you know you can apply lashes w/o spilling lash glue everywhere? You don't have to make a complete mess with your lash glue when you attempt to squeeze out the perfect amount of glue on your lashes. We solved this problem for you. Our brush on lash glue is just that a brush! Now you can brush on your lash glue to either your lash line or your false lashes! No more glue mess. **The trick with lash glue (ours at least) is to allow it get get tacky (almost clear or clear) and then apply your lashes! This makes it so much easier for your lashes to stick on!

- Did you know a lash applicator solves 90% of the lash problems you had? Lash applicators don't get enough love in my opinion, they work WONDERS! It is so hard to apply lashes when you're using your fingers and they get sticky and in the way or your application process! Our lash applicators are our best sellers for a reason!

HOW TO NOT FAIL MISERABLY WITH LASHES

𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽 𝟭: 𝗥𝗲𝗺𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝘆 🦋

Gently remove the false lashes from the tray from the outer corner.⠀

𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽 𝟮: 𝗠𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗼 Eye size 📏

Place false lashes against your eyelid (as close to your lash line as possible) to measure the fit of your natural lash line length.

𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽 𝟯: 𝗧𝗿𝗶𝗺 𝘁𝗼 𝗦𝗶𝘇𝗲 ✂️

Trim off the excess lash band from the outer corner. Repeat step 2 & 3 if necessary to get the perfect lash band length!

𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽 𝟰: 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗹𝘆 𝗟𝗮𝘀𝗵 𝗔𝗱𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲 🙌

Apply a thin layer of our Latex-Free brush on lash adhesive using the brush tip on the base of your lash line (like eyeliner) and wait 10 seconds for it to become tacky (clear or almost clear)

𝘗𝘙𝘖 𝘛𝘐𝘗 :

Toggle (wiggle) the band back and forth to make it more flexible and conform to the shape of your eye better.

𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽 𝟱: 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗹𝘆 𝗟𝗮𝘀𝗵𝗲𝘀 😍

Apply false lashes with our lash applicator, placing the band on the centre of your lash line first, then adjusting the inner and outer corner into place. We like to use a handheld mirror to look down into when applying lashes. Look down into a mirror and place lash on the base of your lash line

𝘗𝘙𝘖 𝘛𝘐𝘗 :

Gently pinch your natural lashes with your applicator or fingers. Then, use b.lashed spoolie to brush your false and natural lashes for a seamless finish.

Try our lash tips and let us know if you were able to properly apply your lashes without any trouble!!
